Fundamental to our programme are the democratic values and international mindedness. All activities that take place at LIS should be carried out in accordance with these elemental principles. The individual freedom, integrity and equality of all people, are basic values to the programme we offer. The school encourages the students to discover their own uniqueness as well as to recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet. As being different is normal at LIS, the school naturally creates a multicultural platform that unites, not divides, a platform from which diversity is embraced, not prejudiced. All students, staff and others involved in school activities, will treat each other with respect and dignity, independent of ethnicity, religious conviction, beliefs, gender, sexual disposition or other discriminatory factors.
By striving towards representing the following attributes, the students will be laying the foundation on which democracy and international mindedness can thrive.
